Here is a list of acceptable and prohibited items!
Although it may seem like you can just throw anything into a dumpster, thats's not the case! There are certain rules and regulations in place that prohibit certain items from being thrown away in the landfill. These need to be considered before you rent a dumspter!
What Can I Throw Into A Dumpster
We Can Dispose Of A Lot Of Junk...
Some examples of the junk we haul away include:
-
Refrigerator Disposal
-
Garbage Removal
-
Mattress Disposal
-
Foreclosure Clean Outs
-
Construction Waste Removal
-
Yard Waste Removal
-
Trash Removal
-
Appliance Removal
-
Furniture Removal
-
E-Waste Disposal
-
Hot Tub Disposal
Things like asbestos and lead based debris may be able to be disposed of, but may require special certifications or permits from the county and/or EPA. Hazardous waste is not permitted as there are special operations that have to be done to render the material safe.
Some examples of things that we can't take include:
-
Asbestos*
-
Lead based debris*
-
Paint/Thinners
-
Solvents
-
Electronics (TV, computers, etc.)
-
Batteries
-
Hazardous Waste
-
Propane Tanks
-
Chemicals
-
Oil
-
Gas/Gas Cans
-
Tires
Oils, paints, and solvents are also not permitted in our dumpsters, although empty, DRY containers are permitted. These materials are not biodegradable, and lets be honest, they make a mess out of our dumpsters
Propane, helium, oxygen, and any other compressed gas tanks are not accepted in our dumpster rentals. Not only do these poise a huge risk to our safety while we transport your debris to the landfill, but it also risks the safety of the landfill workers as they disperse the debris in the landfill.
